Dr. János KÓKA

János is noted Hungarian IT entrepreneur, investor, and public servant. Proud father of three. Fueled by passion and driven by excellence, he cannot resist a good challenge. He speaks fluently English, German, French, and some Russians as well. As his personal references: as a minister of economy and transportation, between 2004-2007 János was responsible, amongst others for the introduction of integrated, intermodal transportation solutions, railways e-ticketing, mobile tolling, and parking. Since 2010, he has been participating in planning and counselling various digital transportation solutions in different geographies.

Made investments and provided consultancy services for various companies, predominantly in the ICT and healthcare sectors in Central and Eastern Europe, through his privately held boutique investment and consulting company

In partnership with other senior managers, former high-level government officials and selected public administration professionals, his team offers services to multinational enterprises, international and national public organizations and NGOs, focusing on cross-border investment, funding, outsourcing, organization development, interim management, R&D, energy and transport projects.

Integration of the Hungarian economy into the world market and international economic relations

Improvement of the strategic portfolio management of the entities under the supervision of the Ministry (approximately 70 public organizations and enterprises,

with a total staff of approximately 60,000
